New days to learn

I am still trying to learn how to plan my days now that I am retired.
Hmph. Retired is such a weird state.

Unless I get up with a plan to execute I can easily waste the day away.
If I have only one goal, a lot of the time that may be the only thing I get done. And the list is really longer than that one thing. But it was not part of the goal.
And it is only a waste in my mind.

My new goal is to have several goals for each day. They are:
  1. Some form of exercise - Swim, Bike or long walk and always some Yoga.
  2. Some form of art. - Drawing, woodworking or edit a video.
  3. Some form of organizing or uncluttering.
  4. Some Family history.
Additionally there will be various project goals. For example, updating the software on all of the Chesapeake Woodturners' video equipment. Not a one day job, but must be worked towards.

I will try to do all four of those each day. Lets see how it goes.
I will set reminder for each to occur every day.

Does anyone blog?

So, I was wondering, Does anyone use Blog pages anymore?

I mean I have had this blog since 2017 and have not added anything to it since it was migrated to google management. OF course, part of that is who I worked for and their restrictions on publishing, especially on the internet, it just was not worth the hassle.

Since I am out from under most restrictions, I may start adding content here.

1st thing that comes to mind is helping a friend to learn what is required to be in the IT / Computer guy business. I am talking about technical skills, not business skills. He has the people skills and that is not an area that I would be much help in anyway.

I suggested that he learn a programming language and gave him a list of the top current languages used by businesses in this area. Then I rethought that and directed him to Python. Specifically, W3Schools Python course. After looking at it, I may take this course myself. I need the refresher and I about to starts a project in circuit python.

We will see.
